The role of BeWood® in the Sisley Building

The embodiment of sustainable luxury: Sisley, a high-end cosmetics brand specialising in phytocosmetology (plant-based cosmetics), wanted a building that reflected its natural identity.

BeWood®’s Premium composite timber cladding offers this warm, elegant and high-end finish. Unfailing durability: Traditional solid timber would eventually have greyed unevenly due to exposure to the sun and the elements. Thanks to BeWood®’s composite technology, the façades of the Sisley factory will retain their original colour without ever requiring the application of polluting chemical wood stains. A key factor in achieving BREEAM Excellent certification: This cladding uses up to 90 per cent less hardwood than a traditional timber structure – a valuable saving of resources that played a major part in securing this site the title of ‘Best Construction Site in France 2025’.
